automatic transmission fluid check

What? Thats crazy talk! I'm going to have to look now, I generally check my oil every time I get gas but have not checked the trans fluid. It's hard to believe there is no way to check it yourself, isn't it kinda important to ensure you have enough?

My Jag S type is the same way. There is a sensor that tells you if the level is correct. It has to be done at a specified temp.
I have always changed my fluid a 30K intervals. They claim it is a lifetime fill, but I still prefer to service especially the way I drive.
