Brandon Davis and his 6.0 N/A Mustang #10 Mustang (with 2010 front/rear facia) is 62 points ahead in the standings going into the last race of the season at Mazda Laguna next weekend (10/9-10/11).

Go Brandon!! Despite the lousy car counts and stupid coin-toss, this is still one of the best road racing series out there.

Said Wins SPEED GT Pole in Monterey, Teammate Davis Will Start First

http://www.world-challenge.com/news/story.php?ID=1494

Quote:
MONTEREY, Calif. (Oct. 10, 2009) - Boris Said, of Carlsbad, Calif., did everything his team could have hoped for in a cameo appearance for Sunday’s SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge GT Championship Presented by Toyo Tires season finale, winning the pole position and then losing the coin toss to invert the top five and put teammate Brandon Davis in the first starting position at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Davis hopes to clinch the series Championship in the Applied Computer Solutions Monterey Sports Car Championship Presented by Bondurant race.

Awesome!! I still think the coin-toss is stupid, though.

Very stupid. I suggested to the sanctioning body they maybe the should do the toss after the race and invert the top five finishers. They thought that was silly. I said exactly...just like your coin flip after qualifying.
