We just had our monthly meeting here in Phoenix and John Clor from Ford Racing came in and talked about next years events... Plan on doing and MCA event closest to you because Ford is DOING A BIG PARTY IN DETROIT NEXT SUMMER!! Just came from the meeting!!! Dream cruise is not out of the question! 4th of July is also a target! They are going to try pulling it together like the Centennial.

I sadly won't be back until after this all happens so hopefully us Mustang guys in Europe can organize something over here. I live an hour south of Charlotte too. +30 minutes to the track though.

Hey guys
When do you think we'll get some firm confirmation of what's happening in each of the two 50th events?
I was originally planning on attending the Woodward Dream cruise this August, but the pull of the 50th events is strong, especially if I could tie it into a road trip (ideally, LV then perhaps East to Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, then loop back and cruise down PCH1.........but that's a long trip with the family in tow......especially if I rent a 'Stang!)
Also, flights from the UK are stupidly expensive (£800 each) during either August (as it's school holidays) or April, as it's Easter.
As this is going to be very expensive, I really need to weigh up all the options.
What I REALLY, REALLY want, is to ensure I get to see the S550 ('15MY).
Mrs TT wants to visit a friend in Chicago, too, which makes the West Coast trip tricky!! Charlotte would obviously be more achievable, but I want to relive a couple of California roadtrips the Mrs and I did before we had kids.
Decisions, decisions........

As we ain't seen a peep so far, I'd be darn surprised to see anything at Woodward. Not that Woodward isn't amazingly cool, of course!
