Replacement Plastic Screws for cowl?
I was changing the cabin eair filter on my car, and somehow managed to loose one of the plastic screws that go on the retainer clips that hold the black cowl trim over the cabin air filter. Is there any way of obtaining a replacemnt for this? I am not sure if the dealership would carry such a small, inexpensive part...

Most Hardware stores carry those push clips with screws. I know because I buy many replacements, they are better than the christmas tree pain in the butt ones. You can also just purchase the screws at some stores. Also the shiny screws with the nice trim ring will work, I use those for dressup.

psychen6, I know that Lowe's carries them...in the screws, nuts, bolts area (look under automotive fastners...one of the drawers).
BTW, do you have to pull out the entire cabin air filter holder when changing it out? Or can you just pull the filter out and then pop it back into it's holder?

Thank you for all the responses! I'll check Lowe's on the weekend.
I believe you can pop it out w/o removing the holder. However, i havan't done it yet (had to put it back cause the dealership was closed, so i couldn't get a replacement filter.)

ok, Lowe's had the exact plastic screw i needed! Thanks Mark!
I did had to remove the holder. It was kind of awkward, because I could not remove the cowl completely.

psychen6...roger that...did you have to put the windshield wipers in the vertical position to give you enough room to lift the passenger cowl section? (wondering if that would have given you more room to remove the cabin air filter holder)...also, are there clips which keep the holder in place? And, if so, were they easy to open and then easy when replacing the holder?
Thanks!
Thanks!
