OK, aside from the pony package V6, and the two new colors, how do we tell them apart?
I know the fan blades and larger Bullitts will help, plus different center caps on the 17" bullitts, but with wheels being so easy to swap from car-to-car, that's not very reliable.
Anything else?
I'm used to dealing with the classics, and each model year has very obvious identifiers as to which year is which. Things are a lot less obvious with the new ones.

Other than the 18-inch wheels and the new colors, and the 17-inch "upgrade" wheels getting the pony center caps instead of the Ford center caps, as far as I know there's no way to distinguish an 06 GT from an 05 GT.

No more Sonic Blue so they have to be 05's
and others have already mentioned a few things but I do think the tire pressure sensor light is already on the 05's. Just not activated.
Early 05's have Global Window option with the alarm.
I wonder if there are any subtle interior design changes that have been made.
Well, I think I know how to tell the difference, but it's not by looking at the car. As most of the 05 owners (myself included) have had the car for a while, their smile on their face won't be quite as big as the 06 owners who will have one permanently tatooed to the face! : )

Blake, you don't count since you ran into that poor girl in the Tahoe! You have an 05 1/2 since you have that nice new front end. Can't wait to see it in person.
YES, That's what my cap looks like. I picked up my 06 GT last week. Also, there is no indication that an electronic tire pressure gauge exists on my car. But...I still remain hopeful. Maybe I should deflate a tire and see if a light goes on. I guess that's the experiment.

Donna,
I like your "tude"...rebel against "The Man". In my case, my favorite gas station is a BP station close to our house. But, I can't help thinking that the alliance between BP and Ford has more to do with $$ than it does with what is the "best gas" for a Mustang, or other Ford product. In my perfect world, I'd like to think Ford used BP gas to calibrate their engines and electronics, in which case use of BP gas makes some sense. ANyone know this?
Cheers,
FalconDude

I just saw an 06 V6 convert today at my gym, unfortionately I didn't have my 05 with me today. Major difference I saw with the 05 and the 06 V6 is the front bumper. The front bumper on the 05's does not have the little groove molding for the license plate, while the 06 does.
