WHich wheel spacers?

I am looking to put wheel spacers on my 1996 mustang GT. From what I can see, there are two types of wheel spacers. The kind that requires longer studs and the kind that bolt onto existing studs where the wheel bolts onto the spacer. From what I have read, hubcentric is the way to go in both of these options. Which wheel spacers are better?
