Got the trans and motor put together, all the bungs welded, return likes run, pan tapped, fabbed up the down pipe(5" lol) the hot side is on, oil relocation, belts and some odds and ends.

The "plan" is to have the motor in the car Sunday....but we are all going out Saturday for a friends birthday, so Sunday may be a late start.

Well the THIRD flex plate should be here "back end of the week" and once that get's here we have about 3-4 hours getting the motor back in the bay.

Seats are in, we need to fix the power steering rack(street car)

Delete the clutch pedal

Fab "blocks" to space the IC out off the supports.

I am drawling up a fun idea as the car will have a bumper exit, the "guard" will be a cool idea so when the car goes to the track/street no denying that the car is from DE.

Thanks man, we hide from our girlfriends here hahaha

Also my buddy just ordered the injectors, they will be here Friday also. So all that we KNOW needs to be ordered is shifter and driveshaft. I know we will come across things we need but no big money items left.

Well it was a LATE night, a lot of beer and burgers....but the motor is in the car, k-member is in.

We had issues finding a flex plate, ordered 3 that "we swear is made for a mod motor" and never fit. So the 4th one we got tired of waiting and drilled it out, got it on. Let's fast forward to Friday night, we got the flex play mounted and planned on setting the motor....then we found out getting the dowels out of the 6 speed was hopeless and had to call it a night till we could take a 1.5 hour trip to the only dealer close with 2 in stock. Woke up Saturday, grabbed the dowels, tank or propane, 30 pack of beer, pack or burgers and dogs and set out. Got the trans on, and got it under the car. At this point we had about 30 friends in our shop and progress slowed. We did get it all in though, today it'll be just us in the shop getting the A arms on, wheels on, off jack stands and on the ground.

Once it's on the ground we are going to try and hook the motor up, and mount the Sullivan and that will more then likley be the day, it's Sunday and we can't spend a late night there.

Pictures coming soon.

We spent the weekend in AC so we didn't get much done.
Got the hot side on, got the IC mounted, got the brake lines re done. In search of a IAT2 sensor and alternator plug.
The outcome is looking good, nothing has us SUPER worried at this point.

Got the cold side mocked up, waiting on a few little parts and the manifold will be on. After that we will pull all the pipe and tig it. Tentative plan is to fire the car up this weekend.

Everything but the boost controller is ordered. The owner is tossing around between a EBoost2 on going with a AMS1000.

Exhaust is on, finishing the cold side, will be tonight. Cross member will be here Friday. Then to fill the fluids, check and triple check everything.

Then the little stuff that eats up time will start, moving fuel lines, drilling the exhaust exit in the bumper() new pads and rotors, wiring in the boost controller, mounting the shifter.....small stuff.
