Thumbs up

I've seen the pictures posted & on the timeline but I still can't see the difference. Someone please enlighten me.

And just so you know I don't know anything about the fox body styles as I still don;t like them (to me they don't look like a mustang), but I am currently learning all I can about them. As I am in the process of purchaseing a 90 for only $400. And all it needs soo far is a heater core, some electricial work, & maybe a new head gasket. We have the car setting in our shed & have paid them $100 until the get the title. When we get the title then they get the rest & we get to go to work.

Ok I say we I really mean my grandaddy & whoever he enlists to help.

Anyway. Thanks ahead for the help.

The hatch usually has like the rear window and trunk attached, so you can reach the trunk from the car. THe coupe has a separate trunk and fixed rear window.

Thanks. I thought that was what the hatchback was but I kept seeing the coupe pictures & couldn't tell the difference. They both looked like the hatchback to me. Thanks again.

The cars are basically the same except for the rear of them. The coupe or notchback looks like a reagular car with a top on it. The hatchback has a sloping rear window and looks similar to a fastback. Here's some pictures of each. The convertible is also like the coupe only its a convertible. I personally like the hatchbacks.

I wouldn't use the phrase "ALL it needs" when talking about the heater core because they are no fun to do.

Yeah I know that. But my brother can do it by himself if left alone for the day. I've seen him pull out, brek down, rebiuld, & replace a motor in about 16 hours. And he's replaced heater cores before. So it shouldn't be too hard for him.

And the plus is he's my brother. He'll do it for free. Where as the couple we are buying the car from were quoted (I think) $300 to install a $20 part.

Thats good your bro can do it. Thats the way a lot of auto repair is actually- cheap parts and expensive labor to install them. 300 bucks actually doesn't sound too bad for a heater core.

I do hope you guys know I am just joking. I wanted a coupe shearly for the fact that they are lighter and faster. As well as I have owned an 89lx, and a 93gt so I wanted something different this time. When it comes to light powerfull race cars, it is hard to beat a fox coupe.

The sn95's look better than any of the foxes anyways
