know that it is not a good idea to drive thru the waterbox on street radials, but I am wondering how much does hurt your 60' and ET? The last two times at the 1/8 mile track, I have driven thru the waterbox, but the entire width of the lane is sprayed, so I have no choice but to.

it's best to go around it, and stupid when people burn out in the box, you get water all in the wheel well, and then it drips on the tires, and defeats the whole purpose
if you absolutely have to drive through it, Id might would try to extend the burnout, then backup, and try to get all the water off the fronts...if they are wet, then they'll leave water directly in front of the rears

I just watch the lane worker's signals. He signals for a burnout after we leave the waterbox.
You going to Qualcomm tonight? See ya there.

I figured it out when I asked some dude in Silver GT if he frequented the TMS boards and he looked at me like I was crazy.

Yea, I had that problem too as at Irwindale they water all across so you cant drive around it. Probably was the reason I had bad traction too
yeah, that has happened to me as well....its more like a moat than waterbox
